This summer, from 15 – 28 of July we will organize 3 creative workshops in a beautiful place in France in partnership with the center for Arts of La Boissiere, situated in the characteristic village of Ayen in Corrèze. The village of Ayen is an historical village, nearby Brive la Gaillarde (100 km south of Limoges and 40 km north of Sarlat) the ‘Land of thrushes and wolves’ situated on the edge of the nearby Périgord.

You have already packed and moved from the UK to start your dream of living in France! However you experience an unwanted and frustrating language barrier in your daily communication with the locals …?

You also feel that alongside grammar rules and theory, the pleasure and the usefulness of a language grows tremendously through practicing and ‘living’ it within the heart and emotions by using imagination and creativity…?

In this week you will ‘live’ another French by experiencing a great combination of relaxation and fun exercises, improvisational comedy sketches, role plays in groups based on different themes. We create and explore real life situations and contexts. The trainer is Laurence Quetel, French native and gives intercultural awareness and French trainings in the Netherlands. Intuitive painting in acrylic: exploring multi technics and mixed materials

Intuitive painting is a powerful tool of creative expression. It vibrates with colours, it flows off the tip of the brush, with energy that moves through the whole body.

Exercising your creativity without concern for results, free from standards and expectations to develop greater trust in your intuition, expand your sense of freedom and your talents. Discover a way to fearlessly explore unknown aspects of yourself by exploring a variety of technics and materials. The trainer is René Beerendonk, artist and painter with a long experience. Clowning: A journey into your heart!

A Clown is a candied being that endlessly discovers the world, through new experiences, meeting people, objects and situations without judgment or past and without projecting into the future. Like the children, the clown is full of wonder, curiosity, playfulness, pleasure and joy. Participants of the workshop are invited to explore, to feel and to listen deep in them, in order to find create space for their own clown personage. Using exercises, games, improvisational theater, with costumes and the red nose, we explore many of our talents in a light atmosphere with fun and humor as heelers! The trainer is Laurence Quetel, professional clown visiting hospitals and healthcare institutes, and is also clown and French language trainer.For details click here.
